This Privacy Policy governs the processing of the personal data of users (hereinafter "User" or "Users"), collected in connection with the use of this website www.efficity.pt or related pages (hereinafter "site"), by efficity, Unipessoal Lda., incorporated in the form of a "sociedade unipessoal por quotas " under Portuguese law, registered with the Commercial Registry under the sole identification number 516 663 925, with registered office at Rua da Alegria, n.º 783, r/c, sala B, 4000-047 Porto, Portugal (hereinafter "efficity"), as the Controller for the processing of personal data.

3. Personal life (e.g. family size, type of property approach and/or date / nature / recipient of application);

efficity does not process sensitive categories of data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, as well as the processing of genetic data, biometric data to unambiguously identify a person, data relating to health or data relating to a person's sex life or sexual orientation.

2. Personal Data Subjects Rights

Under applicable law and as personal data subjects, the User may at any time request the right of access, rectification and deletion of their personal data as may cancel their consent for the processing of their personal data for the future, where it has been the lawfulness basis of the processing, upon written request to: privacidade@efficity.pt

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, the User has the right to lodge a complaint with the National Commission for Data Protection (hereinafter "CNPD"), should he/she believe that the processing of his/her personal data by efficity violates the legal regime in force.

The User’s personal data will be deleted if their consent for its storage is requested, if the personal data information to achieve the intended purpose is no longer necessary or if the storage of personal data is unacceptable due to other legal reasons.

3. Personal Data Retention

The data is stored and used for the period strictly necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless other retention period derives from direct application of the applicable legislation, namely:

1. For the management of the website, for the period of thirteen months after the last visit to the site;
2. For responding to any request for information, for a period of one year from the last contact with the User;
3. For the recruitment and selection of employees, for a period of one year from the receipt of the application, without prejudice to consent having been given to allow retention for a longer period of time or where the User has been selected as part of the application process; and/or

In these cases, if necessary, only the employees of efficity's litigation department will have access to the personal data.

At the end of the periods listed, the personal data will be deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

4. Sharing Personal Data

The processing of your personal data is carried out by efficity, its network of agents appointed by it.

efficity may transfer the User data to entities subcontracted by them for the purposes referred to above, under the terms of the contracts concluded with them (“Processors”).

The Users' data may also be communicated to third parties when the transmission is made in order to comply with a legal and/or contractual obligations, as well as a decision of the CNPD or other relevant control entity, or a court order.

5. Transfers of Personal Data

Your personal data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

efficity develop their best efforts to protect Users' personal data from unauthorized access.
